June 2018

The workshop on Smart Grid and Smart Energy was held on 7th June 2018. It was organised by Durham University, UK. More than 40 researchers from UK, Italy, Greece, France, and China attended this workshop. The workshop provided an excellent platform for researchers to exchange ideas and establish new research initiatives with relevant stakeholders.

  • Summer School

July 2017

The summer school was held during July 09 to July 12, 2017. It was co-organized by UDUR and CAS-IEE. 32 researchers (including 13 ERs and 19 ESRs) from UDUR, CAS-IEE, HWU, ICCS, CEPRI, SYU, and Sichuan University participated in this summer school.

  • Coordinators' Day

Dr Hongjian Sun and Ms Jacki Bell attended H2020-MSCA-RISE-2016 Coordinators' Day in Brussels, and met over 100 project coordinators and managers to learn and share good practice of managing RISE projects, including legal and financial issues, and project management etc. On the right hand, there is a photo with Prof. Zlatan Šoškić,  Faculty of Mechanical and Civil Engineering in Kraljevo University of Kragujevac.

  • Kick-off Meeting 

19 January 2017

The TESTBED kick-off meeting was held in Brussels on January 19, 2017. The meeting was initiated with a brief introduction of profile from all partners, and followed by project management and implementation plan presented by the project coordinator and EU officer. Six work packages were then presented by work package leaders, focusing on work package objectives, milestone, implementation plan and challenging issues.

  • TESTBED + Proposal writing workshop

 20-21 May 2019

TESTBED project partners are delighted to invite you to a proposal writing workshop in Brussels on the 20th and 21st May 2019 to take forward the positive relationships and ideas created as part of this project into a further bid.

The idea is: you all have been working hard on developing smart grid solutions. These have been published which is great. However, as usual, there is often between a gap between theory and practice. As a result, very few smart grid developments get realized. What a shame! Let us do something about this! This workshop’s focus is just that. Let us write proposals for subsidies that want to see smart grid realizations!
